Vampires & Villagers
Vampires & Villagers app icon

4–16 players · one table

The village has a problem.

Everyone plays on their own phone, sitting in the same room. The app deals the roles, keeps the turn order and narrates the night. The accusing is yours.

How a round goes

01 — Setup

One room, one code

Someone creates a room and reads the five-character code out to the table. Four to sixteen play. Roles are dealt in secret and you only ever see your own.

02 — Night

Phones down, eyes closed

The vampires pick a victim, the doctor shields one person, the seer learns one identity. Nobody speaks. An attack on a shielded person comes to nothing.

03 — Day

Argue, then vote

The night is narrated to everyone. First you argue — the app stays out of it. Then the vote: whoever takes the most votes hangs. You may abstain.

Who you might be

What it is not

Not an online lobby

There is no matchmaking and no strangers. A room only opens to people you read the code out to, which in practice means the people at your table.

No chat, no accounts

You never sign up. No email, no password, no profile to fill in — just a nickname. The talking happens out loud, not in a text box.

No ads, no tracking

The game carries no advertising and no analytics SDK. Nothing about you is measured, profiled or sold. The one purchase is optional and one-time.

VIP Room

The whole game is playable for free. A single one-time purchase — not a subscription, nothing renews — unlocks the Hunter and the Jester and marks every room you host as VIP. Buy it once and it follows your Apple account to your next phone.
